ICT Large Companies Award
(Companies with more than R50million turnover p.a.)
This Award recognises ICT enterprises with a turnover greater than R50million per annum that:
- Are viable businesses which are making inroads in the ICT sector.
- Have improved service delivery to citizens. Due regard will be given to the impact the project has had on citizens and improvement of public service delivery.
- Product released with categories from hardware & software that radically transformed/ improved service delivery.
- Awarded product should have impacted businesses in the short/long run and made an impact in the lives of the mass population.
- Have contributed to job creation and ongoing ICT skills development within their companies.
- The projects/initiatives entered in this category must be in existence.
Entries adjudication criteria
- Overview of no more than 5-pages outlining the provision of an innovative solution within the ICT public service delivery
- Overview of the organisation and key players/partners
- Clear demonstration of the improvement to government processes or services
- Clear demonstration of the benefit to citizens
- BBBEE Scorecard
- Graphic depiction of how the objectives of government or a specific department are transformed, improved or enhanced
- Graphic depiction of job creation and ongoing ICT skills development within their companies.
- Submission must demonstrate the contribution being accessible, usable and has successfully been deployed for use by citizens.
